Revenue centers in hospitals are surgery and the ED. Elective surgeries are banned and ED visits are down 40% hence hospital layoffs. Here's the way it will go: a) state government doesn't allow elective surgeries b) hospitals crash financially c) same state government officials beg taxpayers for money to bail out the hospitals. Get used to it and you can fill in the blank of other industries who are facing the same scenario caused by over reaction and over reach by idiot and scared politicians.

My wife is a nurse. Trust me when i say it is very important they classify everyone with Covid-19 as such regardless of their other underlying conditions.

I dont care what gets added to what death count but someone that is a terminal cancer patient with 2 weeks to live and happens to catch covid-19 MUST be classified as COVID-19 so that all medical professionals can prepare as such. Otherwise the virus spreads. Not sure how else to say it.

Things get a lot more real the closer you get to this.

See....it's clearly highlighted what I was stating. (I got to pretend that I'm talking to a 3rd grader) You say the hospitals are deceiving everyone to get more money, but blame the media for being dishonest about it.

And when you are the ones that handle infected patients, things get a lot more real. It's not arguing about things on a forum anymore.

Im lucky to be essential and i have been spending my last few days trying to think when to force the ones working from home back to the office. My problems seem petty to those having to gear up whrn they enter the covid patient rooms throughout their daily tasks.
